JOB DESCRIPTION


The Warehouse and Receiving Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the warehouse and receiving department, including receiving, storing, and internal movement of inventory activities. They are responsible for leading and managing a team of warehouse associates to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor the team to ensure quality standards are met through continuous improvement methods and employee development.
  • Follow the Leader’s Standard Work.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Proactively address performance issues and provide constructive feedback to support employee development and improvement. Conduct employee evaluations.
  • Maintain and manage employee training records, including overseeing policy acknowledgments, performing forklift, reach truck, and order picker driver testing, and maintaining licenses.
  • Maintain an open-minded and curious approach, eager for continuous learning and development.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, legal changes, and best leadership practices.
  • Plan and prioritize daily tasks and assignments.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure accurate and timely receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
  • Coordinate with Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) contacts.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time management, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Previous experience in warehouse and receiving supervision or management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
  • Experience in forklift operation and forklift certification is an asset.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other Continuous Improvement methodologies is considered advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrate determination, resourcefulness, and a commitment to delivering the best results for Triple E.
  • Have the legal right to work in Canada.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures within the warehouse environment.

 Working Conditions:

  • On-site, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
  • The facility operates within clean air standards, and there may be odors associated with manufacturing processes, including solvents.
