JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Supply lines with consistent quality parts on time
  2. Work toward increasing production without increasing-hours
  3. Work toward decreasing down time
  4. Health and Safety
    1. Understand, follow and promote company policy
    2. Forward equipment and procedure concerns to Supervisor
    3. Contribute to monthly inspection of designated area. HS04-0006 and HS04-0001
    4. Forward concerns with compliance or violations of policy to supervisor
    5. Report injuries or close calls to supervisor. HS14-0001
    6. Direct worker to first aid and call for assistance if required (First Responders)
    7. Works together with the Supervisor in identifying and reducing job hazards (SWP)
    8. Participates in ongoing Health & Safety related training
  5. Communication
    1. Communicate employee performance issues (positive or negative) with Supervisor and employee
    2. Communicate employee behavioral/cooperation concerns with Supervisor and employee
    3. Participate in the One Degree Program, connections with the employees
    4. Participate and promote our CI Program
    5. Gets point across in a tactful manner, using a style that reflects the person with whom they are interacting
    6. Able to accept and communicate constructive criticism
    7. Responds positively and motivates team to overcome difficulties
    8. Can effectively participate in a team and demonstrates the ability to assist in achieving results
    9. Gives instructions in simple clear language
    10. Organizes facts in an understandable manner and is able to present them clearly in oral and written communications with all departments
    11. Maintain confidentiality
    12. Back direction/decisions given by Company, Manager, Supervisor
  6. Quality
    1. Take responsibility for all work performed in your designated area
    2. Use your best judgment coordinating within your area; anything beyond takes priority
      If a part must leave your area incomplete, make arrangements and coordinate for completion respecting your customer’s time and space. Minimize delays and disruptions
    3. When called out to review a deviation, review deviations recorded in the Sign Off manual and take appropriate action to deviations that pertain to your department
