JOB DESCRIPTION
As a design draftsperson, you will be involved with drawing solutions for new and existing products. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of systems, including interior cabinetry, exterior construction, chassis integration, plumbing and waterline systems, heating, and cooling system integrations. As a member of the Design Team, your professional expertise will ensure design changes are controlled and conveyed in an orderly manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and revise engineering designs and drawings to meet requirements
- Verify and review component documents, shop floor SOPs, and other documents as needed to ensure designs are within manufacturing abilities
- Provide support to Production, Quality Assurance, Customer Service Support, Research and Development, and other departments as required
- Shop Floor involvement to ensure the various assemblies and systems are manufactured and installed according to drawing specifications
Qualifications:
- Legal right to work in Canada.
- Proficiency in Solidworks software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter with a high level of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively with people and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accurate measurement skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant design experience.
- Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.
- CAD program training or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate determination, resourcefulness, and purpose to deliver the best results for Triple E RV.
Working Conditions:
- Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00 pm, on-site.
- Working in an office environment with access to a sit-stand desk.
- Will be required to be in the production facility where you may be exposed to dust and chemicals. When in the production facility, safety glasses and hearing protection are required.
